A new long she wolf to the area, Ayla, cautiously listens for sounds of more wolves. She doesn't like being a loner, and knows her safety is increased in a pack.

Aiden was fly overhead, with another bird. They spotted Ayla from the sky and circled down to meet her, landing gently in the snow in front of her.

Ayla jumped back, a bit started. She viewed them cautiously.

Aiden secured his talons into a tree root burried under the snow and faced her. The other bird's form shimmered slightly and she shifted into a wolf as she landed. "Who are you?" She asked, her voice deep and authoritive, but not unkind.

Ayla raised her head up to meet her. She replied in a kind but cautious voice "I am Ayla, recently made a lone wolf after the death of my mate".

The wolf didn't seem to have much sympathy, she merely nodded "So you are looking for a pack?"

"I would prefer my strength be united with a pack. It is wasted alone, as am I," relied Ayla. She felt no sympathy for herself, and expected none from others.

The wolf hesitated, and didn't reply right away. "I don't see the harm in letting her join, at least for now." Aiden spoke for the first time "She'd be better off with us then the... others." He spat the last word out.

The wolf nodded, trusting her companions opinion. "Alright Ayla, you may join. I am Sara, and this is Aiden."
