Faedon looked up with a little bit of hope in her eyes, she thought of the smokewolf more as a father than a master. But she didn't tell anyone that.

The smokewolf felt her emotions radiating from her body and lowered its head, reaching around her neck in an attempt to comfort her.

She smiled gently and returned the gesture, it was apparent that she thought of him as family.
