Valasca turned around to see the commotion. " Are you okay?" she asked
 
Valasca flew closer but knew it was too late to stop it.
 
Galantei tried to push off the ice, but it was too heavy. He heard something in the sky, and looked up. A long object flew by above, making a loud roar. it left behind a long plume of smake. "What's that?" Galantei said, as it slammed into an iceberg. There was a loud boom, and a shockwave knocked them all over. When Galantei looked up, he saw that the iceberg was exploding. "EVERYONE TAKE COVER!" he roared, as huge chunks of ice fell around them.
 
Valasca spread her wings over to the den trying to stop the ice from hitting the pups
 
Valasca slammed the ice to break it up. Her attempts had no effect on the large ice.

Mali sheltered her pups near her belly with her back to the ice flying toward her. It slammed ito her head and left a small trail of blood as she flopped down onto the ground. her pups came wailing but didnt move "Ma!" her pups cried in terror

Valasca stepped over toward Daru. "Daru are you okay??" "Where are you injured??"

Mali knew it was over. The pain in her head was unbearable.
Spirit came over to Vascala. "Vascala! Ma is dead!" tears staining his silver face. His sister, Leader came over. "and all you care about is Daru and everyone else. You dont care about Mali."
