She cracked a small grin as he pointed down the hallway away from her.

"You better be right this time" Vlad growled as he headed down the wrong hallway

She exhaled a breath of relief and waited until he was out of sight, then slipped from the room and headed the opposite direction.

"You imbecile there is no one down here!" Vlad roared

The she-fox slipped down another hallway, trying to spot something familiar to tell her where she was.

Vlad rushed toward the next hallway "Lark take the other hallway" He yelled as he ran down the hall

The she-fox ran on silent paws. Finally, she came back to the corner where she had origionally been hiding. From there, she slipped into Vlad's room.

Lark heard the creaking of the door opening to Vlad's room "It's cornered now" he thought

She began searching through all of his things, going through everything in his room.

Lark kicked in the door "Stop right there Varmint!"
