Then, about 2 feet in front of the She-Fox and 5 feet in front of Lark, a bright blue glowing rod extended about 3 feet down from the ceiling and started tracing a circle in the roof between them. She looked up at it and, surrprised, realized that it was cutting a hole in the roof. It finnished the circle in about 30 seconds and when it did, it retracted. Then she heard a thump and the part of the ceiling that it had traced out fell to the floor in front of her. She looked up through the hole and saw an arctic wolf, a human holding some wierd short metal rod, and a 10 foot tall falcon. The wolf reached a paw down through the hole, grabbed her paw, and yanked her up through the hole onto the floor of the room above. He gestured to the falcon and said "You need a ride out of this joint?" The whole time, Lark just stood there in surprise and confusion.
 
By now Vlad had heard the confusion. "Your not going anywhere!" Vlad declared as he levitated the rod to him.
 
"Ohh no you don't!" Rocky said as he used his powers to snatch Yugi's lightsaber out of Vlad's paw and right back into Yugi's hand. Then the human whipped a small black can out of his satchel, yanked a pin out of it, and threw it down into the room that Vlad and Lark were in. 2 seconds later, the can exploded right in between the two fiends and clouds of thick smoke filled the whole room. Vlad and Lark coughed a few times then colapsed to the floor. "Knockout-gas, gets 'em every time." Yugi said as the 4 of them jumped onto Rachael's back and bolted down the halls and out the front gate of the prison. Because of their strengh, the gas only kept Vlad and Lark out-cold for 15 minutes. Even so, by the time they came-to, it was too late for them to do anything; the 4 Lakians were already halfway back to their camp in the arctic.

Vlad quickly dispersed the gas before could take it's effect. "You all won't be leaving this time" as he began to chain the hawk
 
The she-fox snarled at them, slashing her claws across Rocky's face so viciously that his cheekbone was exposed under the torn skin. She ripped her paw from his grasp and smacked Rachael in the face, knocking her unconcious. Before Rocky could react again she lunged at the human, grabbing onto his throat with her powerful jaws and ripping it open, causing blood to coat the back of the falcon. Without hesitation, she launched herself from its back, landing hard and rolling across the snow.
