"If its 30 miles it shouldn't take more than 3 hours to get there. To get there and get back is going to take an overall 6 hours. I don't know how long the mission's going to take but its going to take a few hours at a minimum; depends on how many guards there are. How many do you think there'll be?"

"Yeah, it'll take 5 hours at a minimum. We should probably rest up even if you aren't tired; we're going to be awake for 11 hours at least, and that's the bare minimum. We could be awake for 24 hours depending on how many guards there are and if we run into anything."
 
"I agree. But we must do this to prepare for the big battle." Thistles replied solemnly, tearing the wing off of her bird with her right talon.
 
"Yes. It is our job as soldiers of Lakia to fight for our land to the death." Thistles replied, scraping the meat off of the wing bone and placing it into her beak. It melted like butter in her beak as she swallowed it.
