Kate shuddered inwardly, but did not show it in our outward appearance "And what might that be?"

Kate went pale for a second, then a blaze of fury flickered through her eyes before she composed herself again "Don't touch him." She growled.
 
(No, I don't think she is LOL But she should know what he's takling about; Otto used it years ago on her. It disintegrates everything it touches and is very hard to get off, called dark energy)

"Well, we don't have to touch him. We can always pull out the old fashioned dark energy."

"Are you that desperate?" Kate sneered, a feeling of cold dread settling in the pit of her stomach. "That you'll resort to dark magic?"
 
"Make a decision." He said coldly. "Yourself, or him. Who do you want to live."
 
"Him" She replied automatically.

At this, Jack snapped out of his reverie and looked at her "Absoulutly not!"

Kate glared at him, with a touch of her usual spark "I owe it to you."
 
"About letting him go. I lied." He smirked, laughing hysterically again.
