Safina paced in front of the den snarling. She hissed and slapped the ground with paws.

By now Tarik had slipped deep into the forest.


The 5 cougars remain running hoping to cut off any escape routes

"So now what?" Jack crouched in the narrow tunnel "We're trapped like rabbits."

Kate frowned "I hadn't got to that part yet."

"How much more time did you need!" He remarked.

"None, I just thought living on the edge for a change would be fun." She shrugged, causing a shower of dirt to rain down on their heads from above.

"This is bad for my heart." He muttered, narrowing his eyes in the dim light.

One of the omega cougars began to catch Jack's scent. "I hope I can pull this off myself" He asked himself

"Oh I shall" He smirked as he ducked aiming for Safina's ankle

She saw the claws coming but was to off blance to dodge. She yowled as the hit knocked her on her side. She hissed and swiped for his throat!

"What if we dig?"Jack suggested.

"Do you have a spoon?"

"Well, no, but I have claws."

Kate rolled her eyes "We'd stand a better chance fighting then digging. Follow me."

"Umm, I ah.. I can't turn around in here."

"I thought you had a small butt!"

"I do! But the tunnel is small!"
