Emily frowned and backed away from the hole, taking flight again and heading back towards the forest.

About a hour later she arrived at her quarters. A few moments after her landing a small white weasel appeared in front of her.

"Ahh Tarik I assume you've brought me good news."

"Well of course" He replied with a crooked laugh

"You've found one of the underground refugee cities?"

"Yes the spies have lead us to one of the minor cities"

"Excellent begin your preparation to attack" "I want no survivors from this attack"

"Well except for the spies"

"Which part of no survivors did you miss?"

"But they have given us crucial information"

"I'm well aware of that and have you not informed them of all our plans as well?"

"Well of course"

"So they've given us all of their information, and serve no purpose for the time being?"

"Not at the moment no"

"So you want to allow creatures who could potentially sell all of our secrets to the enemy and serve no purpose for us to live on a whim that we may need their services at a later date?"

"I.. I hadn't thought of that"

"I could have guessed that" She smirked

"But...they are like our family"

"Family?" "Ha, Family has no meaning to me." "Either you kill them or I will kill you along side them"

"Yes Master" He nodded as he began to walk off

"These emotional tactics are getting quite old" She thought "He'll have to be dealt with when he returns" she assured herself as she walked towards her den.

The light pad of footsteps could be heard from behind Zenobia as Jingo approached her, her amber eyes cautious, but determined with a purpose. "Zenobia," she said, stopping a bit behind her and facing her respectfully, but without a trace of fear. "I have information which you might find valuable, regarding the rebels."

"Continue" She purred lightly

"Earlier this evening Gorgos was in pursuit of two rebel spies, neither of which he managed to capture." She began, paying close attention to Zenobia's reaction to her words as she spoke "After he gave up the chase I followed them back to what I believe is the base where these spies come from." She eyed the other wolf closely "The two spies were one of Jack's best, Aiden and Mannex. If they are staying at that base, it is probably where Jack is."

"Hmm top spies you say?" "They will have to be dealt with before anything gets out of hand"

"Indeed," she agreed with a slight nod. "Moving on to other issues, I couldn't help but overhear that you may have discovered the location of a minor city?"

 

[Kevin565]

"I see you must have been hiding longer than I suspected." "Your hearing is correct though we have a lead on one of the minor refugee cities"

"Not hiding, observent," she corrected Zenobia lightly. "I would like to take part in this attack, when will it be?"

 

[Kevin565]

"Tomorrow evening" "That is when the strongest creatures are out hunting leaving the city vulnerable for a strike"
