Emily reached down and grabbed Mali's scruff, then slowly dragged her off the street so she wouldn't be crushed by any falling debris. Then she turned without another word and left, her injured wing hanging oddly off her shouder.
Jingo rolled off her back and picked herself up slowly, shaking dirt from her pelt. She raised an eyebrow at Zenobia and shrugged "Go after the leader, Sara. She controls the rest."
Jingo gestured towards the city, where the giant winged serpent was landing amoung the rubble. Even from where Jingo stood, she could see the serpent's form shimmer and then fade as Sara shifted into her usual form.
