We were surprised this afternoon with our first lambs of the year! We weren't expecting any babies for another 18 or so days. This is the mama, Galadriel, this past week..... She looks like she is going to have triplets every year, but this time she actually did. Unfortunately, one of the babies was still-born. We are left with a beautiful pair of lambs - 1 ram and 1 ewe. They are huge - the ram is 11.5 lbs and the other 2 are/were 9 lbs. That's 29.5 lbs of lamb. Poor ewe!
