I adopted a silkie about a week ago from a lady who said her flock was picking on her severely. She has no feathers left on her legs and her scales were raised so I have been giving her epsom salt soaks and applying vaseline on her legs. The scales are all coming off peeling like dead skin. Is this normal?
Also, she has been limping, only using her left leg. I have her isolated in a crate in my house. Her right foot won’t flex and her toes are very stiff. I started giving her B2 today in case its a vitamin deficiency, but not really sure what is going on. She eats, drinks fine and poop looks normal. Any advice or hep would be appreciated. Thanks
