Lame duck, please advise!!

Update for anyone interested! Pretty duck, as I've been calling her, is acting stronger everyday! It took 1.5 weeks of treatment to see any improvement at all but now im seeing a little bit everyday. She's is standing for short periods and tries to take little steps, sometimes managing one, usually plopping down. She is using her legs much more normally while swimming as well. I'm increasing her swim time, we're at three 30ish min swims a day. She didn't eat anything for maybe 5 days, then she started eating meal worms for a few days and today I saw her eating her duck crumble for the first time.

I do need advice on a new issue however, she has wet feather. What do I need to do about that? No more swims for awhile? She's only had it the last 2 times I've taken her out of the water so I just dried her off well before putting her back in the coop. I see her preening herself a little but I'm sure not as much as she would be if she were healthy.

Glad to hear she's doing better! As she gains more strength, she should start preening more and resolve the wet feather issue.

I wouldn't discontinue the swim therapy as it helps her keep her muscles toned and strong, but perhaps wrap her in a towel (no rubbing with it) to absorb the extra moisture afterwards.

Great news!!

Hello! Pretty duck is doing amazing! She is walking totally upright now, she only stumbles if she's trying to run. I have fully integrated her back in with the flock, so she free ranges in and around the pond all day everyday. She does spend more time than the others laying up on the bank, so I know shes not 100% yet. Her wet feather has also resolved. I am still doing 1cc of vitamin b complex daily, so she has been on it for 25 days. How long do you think I should continue this? I've been feeding them natures best organic all flock feed, when researching this feed I found that it contains 66ppm of niacin. Is this enough? Should I supplement in some other way?
