lame duck

Hi, thanks for all your help, I gave her a round of injections and she seems to became worse, her joint is swelled real big like a chickens I seen on this site and they think its broken. I guess no one knows if she is in pain. I will try to take a picture of it and post it. She is a lot happier out with the other ducks, she eats and hangs with the rest of them, or they are staying close to her one. They used to stay in the creek all day but lately they lay around with her in the front yard. I gave her Tylan 50 injections for 4 days of 1/2 cc, her joint is still swelled and hot. I hate trying to grab her she has taken quite a dislike for us now, she even grabbed my husbands nose and twisted it, which I have to say was a funny sight. She didn't have a name but she does now, I call her Fiesty. I wish there were poultry doctors here.
You might call a few vets to see if they would do an xray, at least that would tell you if it's broken. I'm thinking as long as she is using it so much it's not going to heal. I still think putting her and one of her close friends together in a small run with secure house would be best. And doing Epsom soaks [making sure she doesn't drink the water since ES is a laxative. ] but it might help with swelling and inflamation. If it's broken ther may be a way to make a splint for her.

I had the same exact thing happen with my drake. Luckily tho I found a vet that takes in ducks CHEAP. Unfortunately it was a waste of time for his leg. He had undeveloped lungs and stopped walking at 4 months old. The vet said he'd live to 6 months max, but I got antibiotics for him still. The drugs helped his lungs and to this day he breathes perfect. For his leg tho I tried many things for 2 months and nothing worked. Still hopping or not even moving. So I decided to crate him. 1 month later after no leg movement at all, except for occasional bath in warm water, he's out and about all happy with the other ducks. Now he's 9 months old and still alive. So maybe if you keep your duck off her feet for a while that'll work.

I have a Pekin duck who's tendon has frozen up causing the foot to be bent backwards and preventing her from straightening it out.any suggestions?
