Greetings!
I have a 4 week old duckling that has turned up lame. I can find no palpable break but she has no 'action' in her leg from the 'knee' down.
I have segregated her from Mom and sister in a cat carrier. Gave her some rescue remedy and some polyvisol. Crated her in the coop so Mom can know she's okay. Mom needed rescue remedy but couldn't catch her.
Is it possible that the 'knee' is dislocated and is there a way to pop it back in place? Should I take a wait and see approach keeping her segregated and quiet?
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks!
