One of my PBR hens has been lame for a couple of days - I picked her up today and it seems like it's her upper leg/thigh. When she walks, she limps, and she doesn't walk much - mostly just hunkered down like she's in the nesting box. It didn't seem like it was her lower leg or toes, nothing appears to be broken or bleeding. When I was feeling around her thigh, she tried to fly out of my arms.
I had to pull her out of the run because the other hens were beating up on her. She's in her own space now, it's just an ex-pen with a dog crate, food and water - it's not really protected from the elements.
Please give me some ideas of what to do! I have no idea! I can't tell if this is one of the 1-year old PBRs or if she's my 3-year old. I'm really worried about her
