Landscape fabric

I am in central Alabama. Snow is rare, rain in the winter. highs are in the 90's in the summer, and 30's, for the most part, in the winter. I have about decided to leave the top open for now. I don't really have any pests, except for birds, because of my dogs. I have cemented the bottom of the wire about 6 inches down in the ground. I will be running wood 2 x 4's around the top. The chickens are in the barn right now, and I need my stalls back. :D
Oh that makes things MUCH easier. If you get BOP problems, and even to keep your birds in the run, the 'lots of strings going all over' from tops of fencing and posts would probably be your best choice.

What is BOP? We are separating the coop into two because I have Cemanis and Bielefelders that I want to keep separated. I will have a divider coming down the middle. I just want them outside, because I know they will be happier. I didn't look, but are there pictures of someone else's run that is done this way?

BOP = Bird Of Prey.
Even if you split run you can do the strings over the top thing.

Thank you so much. I should have them outside this weekend.
