mine love to hang out under the azaleas. but when you are landscaping, think like a chicken. keep in mind that they like and need to be able to see anything that may be sneaking up on them. so dont plant stuff that will obstruct their view too much. azaleas are nice b/c they block the chickens from above but the branches are high enough the chickens can get under them and still see whats going on.
