Hi! We just brought our 4 little peepers home today and 1 is not looking so good. It won't stand up really and huddles down and closes eyes. The other 3 are perky and running around like mad. Any suggestions? I've already put the 1 in it's own box. Thanks!

I'm not experienced in this department, but I will suggest that you post in the "Emergencies, Diseases, Injuries and Cures" section to perhaps get some replies there. Be sure to fill out all the requested info. in the "Sticky" at the top of the first page.
The only thing that occurs to me about what you wrote already is that I wouldn't segregate the sleepy one, he would probably do better off with his buddies for heat and warmth and companionship. Has he tried to drink anything at all yet?

Was he/she perky when you bought them?? In the past I have brought more than one little baby around with a little warm sugar water if you don't have any electrolytes on hand..You can use a syringe or straw, just pry their little beak open and let a small bit at a time go in..make sure they don't breathe it in. As long as they aren't sick but just a little strung out from their journey this seems to help. I agree with making sure the baby is warm, but if he can't move under his own power don't put him TOO close to a heat lamp. Nat
