Lapeer laws on chickens?

I'm thinking of moving from Kimball twp Michigan to Lapeer Michigan.i found a house on a little over a half acre that is fenced with a shed. Does anyone know if you can have 10 hens in Lapeer? I know about the RTF act but I don't want my neighbors upset about them.

"Animals or fowl at large. No person shall permit any fowl or animal to run at large in the City.

Keeping of animals. No person shall keep or confine horses, ponies, hogs, cattle, sheep or any other animals in such manner that they become offensive to those residing near or to the public health.

Keeping poultry. No person shall keep chickens or other fowl in any house or yard within 50 feet of the dwelling house of any other person except by permission of such other person."

I spent about 5 minutes looking, so you might want to dig deeper. I didn't see anything about how many birds you could have, or if you are allowed to have a rooster.

I'll have no roosters, but I'll have to dig deeper myself. I appreciate your research! I don't want to have to get rid of any of my girls!
