Large and small ducks

I recently took in a calll duck. I stupidly didn’t think about the three rescue ducks I have that are a mixed Muscovy and are sterile due to the mix. They are very large! I’m afraid to let the little call drake duck out of a pen because one of those sterile maybe hermaphrodite (?) ducks likes to mount the others who run from him/her. Can he/she hurt the little call drake? I can’t keep him penned up - he’s unhappy (call duck) so I’m wondering what to do. Thank you for your thoughts and advice!

nope you can’t keep them together. my pekin have to be separated from my rouen and khaki.

I agree. And, just because your hybrid ducks are sterile does not mean they are hermaphrodites. They are male ducks with spring drake hormones, which turn them into horny, dumb monsters. They just can’t produce mature sperm because they have an odd number of chromosomes which messes up meiosis. So, they are sterile. I don’t think they know that though.
