What are your favorite feeders? I’m looking for something large enough for my flock of 9 that can be brought in at night to avoid predators. Right now they are using a small feeder from when they hatched.

With two of these, for 9 birds I fill a little more often than once per month (takes a whole bag). I keep in the coop typically.

These are the sizes I I use from 2-4 weeks and 4-8 weeks before they get long enough necks. Cut hole, jam in elbow. The first Folgers one was a first time attempt disaster as I made it too low and had to cut some slots etc.

I use the 7 lb version of this one: https://www.amazon.com/Harris-Farms...rm+feeder&qid=1592288930&s=lawn-garden&sr=1-2 fits nicely in a small metal garbage can for overnight storage.
How many chickens do you have and how often are you refilling? I plan on storing in a bin or something as well overnight, as long as it doesn't attract any predators? We've only had one attempt at our bird feeders in years and garbage cans and compost bins are never touched so I hope a covered garbage can with the food inside will suffice.
