I got some BCM eggs from shellyga and they were a beautiful dark chocolate brown and extra large. Best part is... they hatched. The chicks are in my grow-out pen right now and looking great, almost POL.

my cochoo marans lay a very dark egg

jnkir7.. mine vary in shade.. depending on the age of the hens..but the cuckoo marans are not nearly as dark as the BCM.. whatever the shade, the fertility is great.
