Large Fowl Silkies?

Is anyone in the US raising Large Fowl Silkies?

There isnt such thing as silkies are suppose to be bantam size but hatcheries sell to big of them meaning they are not pure

In the US pure silkies are all bantam. There isn't a LF strain.

However, there are some breeds like Ameraucaunas (not sure of correct spelling) that have a silkie mutation. So you can find them silkied

cmohlin89 any luck finding LF silkies? I am looking too, with limited success. Myers Poultry in PA has a line of white silkies that they sell as specialty meat production birds, but the weight they list for them is only 2-3 lbs, not the 3-4 lb of the British LF silkies. Still looking!

what breed could you cross a silkie with to get large offspring?

There are definitely large fowl silkies in Europe and they are pure
