I have an EE but she lays very small eggs she just started laying about 1 month ago. Will the eggs get bigger? What kind of chicken lays large green or blue eggs?

Easter Eggers lay blue or green eggs.

Ameraucanas and Araucanas lay blue eggs. "Olive Eggers" - crosses of either of those three and dark layers like Marans lay beautiful, dark olive green eggs.

Your eggs will get bigger. A young pullet/hen will always lay smaller eggs when she first starts out. In a few months they'll get bigger, next year they'll be full sized.

Usually, once they are a year old the eggs are as big as they are going to get. I had some old Red stars that when they were about 5 started to lay the biggest eggs.. many double yolker. Occasionally they would then lay little bitty banty sized eggs.

My hyline browns started out laying huge eggs and are still doing that every day. Does this just depend on the type of chicken whether or not they start laying small and gradually get bigger or just start out laying large eggs?
