I'm confused. Sorry, I know this is an old thread.
It was written to inbreed F1. Did you mean inbreed F2? F1 couldn't be related if one was an orp and the other a cochin. I was taking notes, then saw that about having to inbreed the one generation, and got confused.

This is a road map of the development of Self Blue Cochin Bantams. It will work if your follow the steps closely. While not yet done with the project he is very close. Note that to do it correctly you need quality blacks to start .

In order to get Lavender (self Blue ) to come out you'll have to do sibling matings after youve done crossed the two opposite colors. And everytime you cross back for body type depending on what order you mated you'll still be doing sibling mating to keep pulling the gene back out.
