Large Liquidy Growth on Breast

Hi All,

I have 3 hens. 2 started laying a month ago, the other laid one double yolker, one time and has not laid since. We have noticed for some time that the hen that hasn't been laying has an unusually large breast. Well, today I actually felt it and it is just full of liquid. It is huge, my hand isn't able to cover the entire thing. Any ideas what this is?

Thats her crop and i don't think it should feel liquidy... Search sour crop, crop issues etc and see what you find. I'm sure someone who knows more will chime in.

Thank you so much. I searched it. Decided to puke my chicken and feed her homemade plain yogurt. She isn't acting sick, though I suspect she has had sour crop for a few weeks now. All I had to do to puke her was turn her upside down, no massaging necessary, it was so gross..
