one can get a mass of yellowish cheezy stuff at the back of the throat. this can be removed by using one's finger (yuk!). it may hurt the bird a bit and ensure you don't hold around the mouth/throat for too long otherwise you will stave the bird of air. my farm vet taught me this years ago when a hen was over eating and i think i have the same problem now with an indian game rooster although i can't see the yellow mass. possibly further down. the ACV and water may do the trick. put some in a dropper. repeat frequently. also try charcoal slurry as this will reduce the inflammation ensuring the bird can breath freely. it also removes an infection. that's all i can help with. sorry.
