Large mass on newly hatched chicks eye

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Hatched yesterday or today.
Its left eye is normal, its just closed it as I was taking photos. its right clearly has something wrong with it. It moves a little when it moves its eyes, not sure if this is the eye or it's a mass.

I've never seen something like this.. That looks horrible..

The mr used warm water to wipe it very gently. It is a bulging eye. I didn't notice how lop sided the comb/face is before.
Super lively except in my warm hands where it falls asleep right away. Im a sook so may have to ask the Mr to cull if it doesnt eat, drink or get around well
