Safe to Move Freshly Hatched Chick to Disinfect?

Our brooder has bits of decaying eggshell from the first hatch 4 days ago, and the new chick has a swollen belly and open navel. It has lots of energy, hatched in an hour, and is moving around a lot, we need to know if it is safe to open the incubator to briefly wipe the area with iodine to hopefully prevent further infection. Is it safe to move?? I think it has wry neck or something also but my more immediate concern is the open navel and possible infection: but is the temperature change worse for a newly hatched baby? Is there anything I can do?

How long g has it been hatched? If it's swollen, it may be a navel infection.

Four hours now, and it had a swollen belly a little (that I could tell) when it hatched. Not sure if that’s just because she was a little late or something though.
