I've seen some of these that have a preset temp in then and some with wafers. Is there any difference between a large picture window and like a regular one with the 2 small windows?

This is one thats going to be used for hatching chicks that 4-Hers want hatched. Right now I have a LG still airs and I've done pretty good with it but want a circulated air one since I've heard some great stuff about them.

I was looking at this site since they had some on sale for a good price (In my head atleast)

What one would you go with?

Well I have the 1588 and I love it. A lot of people on here like the 1588. I can't answer for the other bators as I have no experience with them. BUT IF I were to buy another bator, it would be another 1588.

You'll get a better price by going directly to GQF.

Get an adjustable one, that way you can compensate for variances in room temp.

That's my recommendation.

I have a GQF still air model (1582 Picture Window) at home that I could hatch rocks with.

Torn between the 1588 and 1583.... Gah! There so much... Might just have to stick with my Little Giant and hope for the best.

I would go for the 1588, peeps here have good luck and seem to recommend it.

I love my 1582! It looks like if I wanted to turn it into a 1583 I could do so by adding a fan.....

I bought the 1588 and let me tell you, all you have to do is add water every 3 to 5 days. The bator keeps spot on temp, I love this bator!
