large RIR egg

The girls have been laying for about 6 weeks now.
Some small , some largish eggs. 1.8 - 2.4 oz. but yesterday we got a 3.4 oz. egg!! the carton won't come close to closing.

What is the largest egg a RIR has produced?

My Red Star (half RIR) gave us a 3.5 last week - it was a double yolker of course. It was breakfast all by itself.

We got a huge one yesterday from our Red Sex-Link. It was 3.5 ounces. Isn't it fun!!
