I guess a better question would be if it's something that could potentially get better or kind of a sure outcome? I'm doubtful about that but figured it can't hurt to ask

I guess there is a chance it could get better, but I don't think it will. Keep an eye on the raw area and make sure flies don't lay their eggs there, 'cause flystrike would probably kill her.
