Hey guys,
This morning one of my chickens was showing many of the symptoms of sour crop, but that is yet to be proven as the issue. Heres the story, She wasn't really moving that much, she was very quiet, and her comb was pale. I took her inside and fed her gatorade with warm water (I had heard that gatorade is great for treating sour crop) and she seemed fine around lunch time. Then I went and checked on her again this afternoon, a small portion of her comb had turned a darker color, she's gone quiet again, but she still talks every now and then and she barely moves. I also found a very strange swelling on her as seen in the link below:

I'm not sure if this is normal or not, it also came to our surprise that she had laid a very malformed egg (it was very soft, almost like skin, in some parts, and hard like a normal shell in others). We're sure its an egg cause it contained a yolk.
Can anyone help me identify the problem, and what I can do about it?
