Laryngitis?

My rooster all of a sudden is squeaking like a squeaker Toy instead of his regular deep sounding voice. I tried to Attach a video of him squeaking but I couldn’t seem to do that….
Has anybody had anything like this before? I’m guessing I need to treat his lungs. Is he contagious? What is the cause of it? Thanks in advance.

It’s a bit dusty now that the weather is hot. And there’s a lot of mustard plant around here ( I’m allergic to it myself)

Yes, mine was doing the same thing last year. Moved from that dusty location and he’s fine now
