Do roosters get what humans might consider laryngitis? He seems otherwise fine, but his cockadoodle doo is more like a wheezy squeak for the past few days. Eating, drinking and behaving the same otherwise. Any ideas or suggestions for helping him get his voice back? Mornings are too quiet these days and I feel bad for him, watching him try to do his thing but squeaking instead.

Ok so definitely not just starting to crow in which case I wouldn’t worry. Since that’s not the case I would try to look in his mouth and see if something is caught in there. I have heard roosters struggle to crow when they’re very cold but it doesn’t sound like this is the case either.
