Lash Egg or Something Else??? Help!!

@aking19 - This is what happened with our Golden Comet who never laid an egg. We went the calcium route early in what should have been her egg laying career when she started to lay on the nest, but it never helped which we discovered much later as to why. She would attempt to lay and then eventually gave up going to the nests which is when we realized she was going to simply be a pet chicken. She lived her best life as chicken leader until she couldn't. She trained two sets of pullets for us, where to find the bugs, where to find the best greens, how to return to the run upon calling, maintaining order etc. Even without eggs, they provide so much value to the flock.

Thank you! I have made peace with her being a pet (they all kind of are ) she was laying eggs for about a year, its just since fall last year she’s been weird. They do still provide value even if not laying, I 100% agree!
