All advice welcome!
I just found what maybe looks to be a lash egg in one of my nesting boxes tonight. I unfolded it and just appeared to be a folded up, wet, soft egg shell. It had no odor nor did it have any kinda of white pus looking material inside like lash eggs typically do. All of my hens are acting normal, however I have one hen who has lost weight and has a pretty pale comb and wattles. She is not currently molting. She is acting completely normal like the rest of my 7 hens. I will be contacting my vet on Monday about this but there is no guarantee that she will be able to come out and see her this week. If this looks like a lash egg to y’all, what can I do in the mean time while I’m waiting to see my vet for antibiotics. If this isn’t a lash egg, what does it look like to you and what can I do to prevent more of these. I attached photos, there is one where it looks small and folded up, this is how I found it. The other two photos are what it looks like unraveled. Again, nothing was inside.
