Last 3 days of incubation

Should I remove eggs from turner and place on mesh for last 3 days or just turn off turner???

My understanding is that you need to remove the turner, as the chicks can't really get up and about in a turner. Be careful to monitor your temperature afterwards, I did this on a Friday and couldn't get back to the incubator until the Monday (it's in a school) and the temp dropped for the whole weekend. We got no chicks
