Hey everyone. My sick Polish might be past the point of help at this point, but she is still alive so I can’t give up on her yet. Yesterday I noticed she wasn’t acting right, brought her to my garage to keep her away from the others and give her special attention. Her crop is totally empty, I could get her to drink yesterday (also put RoosterBooster vitamins in her water) but not today. She is not paralyzed as she can move her feet, but she won’t stand up and can’t hold her head up. She is not interested in drinking or eating, even when I dip her beak. She is still attentive and will perk her head up when she hears a noise and her eyes are and look alert even when she is laying down. She has had several very green poops. I have no idea what could be wrong with her… She was fine two days ago.
Things are looking bleak, but I wanted to know if there’s anything I can try. She was my first chick and she is only 16 weeks old.
Edit- I was able to get her to drink some water this evening.
