Last few days!!

Hi,

Newbie here!!

We are on Lockdown {since wednesday evening}

I have heard the chicks chirping, omg I can't move away from them!!!

How long do you think it will be before any start to pip??
We estimated they would arrive by saturday!!

This is our first batch of 6 so please be gentle with me!!

Wow 2 hatched this evening

and one more egg chipped but struggling to push through

got all our info from this great site even down to the incubator which we made ourselves

So fab will update and try and add photos once we have had some sort of sleep

Congrats on your new fuzzy butts. I just hatched out 22 eggs day 21 14 hatched day22 5 hatched day23 2 hatched and day24 1 hatched one other didnt make it. she was fully developed just didnt pip out. so give it some time and enjoy. Mine are almost 1 week old and they are eating drinking poop machines

new babies, I can't wait for mine they have only been in a week, congrats new dad, I'm just imagining how I'm going to be feeling when and if mine hatch. its so exciting I have 5 definate embryos and 4 chicken eggs I can't see through and 19 quail. wish I was at the end of it already its so stressing.

errr...whats 'lock down" in the chicken world?

In middle school its where you turn off the lights,lock the door and hide the kids under the desks..thats the only lock down i know....just curious as im new too
