Last minute advice for Newbie

Our three Comet Red hens arrive in two weeks. Tractor is almost finished. What is last minute advice for a new chicken owner about to start a new flock in Eastern PA?

I raised hens for years at the school where I worked but this is my first personal flock.

If your new chickens are chicks, my advice is: Have your brooder set up and ready before you bring them home! (For example: Have the food and water filled and ready. Make sure the heat lamp or hear plate are heated up!
