My 16 week old rooster (I'm thinking of switching his name to Boy George from Masala) made a point of being the last one in the coop.
He went in with Tikka (my 16 week old EE) and then went back outside and waited for my 2 1.5 year old BPR to go in the coop before he went in for the night.
Is this typical? It was kind of sweet. I am VERY new to having a rooster (never wanted one but apparently Mother Nature and the feed store wanted me to have one).
He didn't leave the coop this morning till I'd let the older ladies out to freerange.
