Late Bloomers?

I still have 2 BO's not laying at 6 months.

They are healthy & happy, just not laying like the other Buff & 2 EE's. We got all 5 chicks from a hatchery at one day old. Their wattles & combs are getting redder. Could these two just be late bloomers? And the days are getting shorter and cloudier. Just ready for all my girls to be contributing around here.

Buff Orpingtons can be a bit slower to mature. Pullets that mature in the fall also take a bit longer to start laying.

Thanks. I had thought I read that somewhere - and the seasons changing, too. At least by Spring we should be going strong!
