I had eggs start pipping early this afternoon and they have yet to make any progress. Is this normal?

I have read on this forum that you should give them 24 hours before intervention.

Yes, very normal...they can take up to 24 hours to pip and zip out...patience!!...they are learning to breathe on their own and are resting in between trying to crack out of the shell...

Not good to intervene... I never have had too...

yes 2 of mine came out today in mins there is another trying since 2pm today and still isnt out put pipping ver slowly
