I have five bantam marans chicks ~ 3 months old; One was obviously a rooster very early on-light color and a huge comb and wattles. The other four remained similar looking except two are darker than the other two.
Within the last 2 weeks two of them, one dark one and one light one, have shown substantaily more comb and wattle growth than the other two. Is it possible that two of the fours' gender could be established at such a late date?
