late hatch so i opened eggs

i had 10 serama eggs that shlda hatched 4 days ago i candled the egss and saw nothing moving so i opened a few of them and looks like they stopped growing about the time i stopped the turner 1 of them was still moving tho it looked as he had about 4 more days to grow i checked the calendar several times to make sure i didnt get the dates wrong but i was correct so now im wondering if i woulda left it if it woulda hatched im still not sure why the eggs are so far behind during development

what were your temps and humidity - I think that has a lot to do with growth from what I've read on here.

Sounds like your temperature was too low...we have had that happen with a faulty thermometer. Never trust just one...especially the ones that come with the styrofoams. Ours was 3 degrees off...we bought the aquarium ones from Walmart for 1.97 and they are great!
