long story short...I had a broody hen couldn't find cheap eggs so when I did the hen had been on the nest for 20 days already. when I got the hens eggs she sat on them for 10 or so days then gave up. she was in a nesting box covered in wire and through her attempt to get off the nest she broke one egg and spilt water on a couple eggs my guess is she was off for 10 or so mins. rushing inside I put them in a Styrofoam cooler that didn't have a lid. put a towel over it and the temp was steady at 95° for an hour. I had to go to horseback and after I would buy an incubator at TSC.

fast forward to today... day 22 no pips I did a water candle yesterday and took out all dead ones. the others were spinning and had correct size air sacks.
I'm thinking of waiting till tomarow if there's no pips do an eggtopsy.

you think there still alive?

I would definitely give them at least another day or two, I hope some hatch!

so I water candled
1 and 2 sink and then resurface have a real small air sack no movement um gonna throw them out

5 has little movement good sized air sack gonna keep

any others I should throw out tell me but none had movement i just dont wanna risk throwing out a good egg cause theres no turning back...
