Late hatched chick (2 days) can not get head up from under belly, still rolled into a slight ball

If not, try buy some asap, and droplet it into it's mouth, and hold it's head up, do this probably once every half hour, do not take out of the incubator until it's fluffed up! Then put straight under lamp, keep giving the vitamin water, and it should perk up. This happened with mine, hatched on day 24 and was just curled up, the next night it had perked up!

Has the chick fluffed up or is its fluff pasted down?

I had a chick stuck in her egg and had to assist. She has been stuck so long, her neck had an s-bend in it but she couldn't even try to straighten out because she had dried egg goop in her fluff and it was preventing her from moving properly. I bathed her in warm water up to her neck and then blow dried her and this freed her up so she could flex.

Mine also had a 'clawed' foot so I made a shoe for her so she could stand but the neck was terribly deviated. She is two weeks old now and with a little daily massage, the neck is now completely normal BUT I did have to make sure she was properly hydrated each day as initially she couldn't tip her head back to tip water down her throat. I also gave her daily Nutridrops so that she was getting guaranteed high nutrition while nature set to work fixing her.

Sounds like your little one has the same issue....too long cramped up in the egg....but no reason why she won't straighten out as long as you supplement her feeding and watering until she can do it herself. The Nutridrops are a godsend, they really are. It's liquid nutrition that needs no digesting so gives such a boost.
