late hatches from the incubator

That's great to hear you have now solved the incubation problems. Something as simple as a low reading thermometer can cause such stress during hatch time.
Good luck with this hatch, as you say will be very interesting to see how they hatch and what they look like. I like crosses they really can produce some lovely birds.

Thanks for your good advise. Today is day 11 and I have now seen 37 of 41 embryos move in the egg. The air cells are well good. Of 41, two were not fertile, one detached air cell found on the loft under the roost, one blood ring. There were two that were upside down in the incubator for a week (round eggs!) but they have been up righted. #14 seems a little sloshy but not certain it is a problem. We shall see.
